Ladybridge Panther’s U14’s 16/09/06 Played Unsworth Lost 2-1
Ladybridge started off well and Ciaran Cullen scored the first goal assisted by Robert Walsh with Danny Shirkie pulling player’s to the far wing, Unsworth came back with a good goal from outside the box, unlucky for James Miskell in goal as both teams were crowding in the box so he could not see the ball but still tried to save it but it hit the underside of the crossbar and dropped over the line, Ladybridge kept up the pressure but Unsworth managed to score a jammy goal, Ladybridge still did not give up the fight and were very unlucky to come off with a loss with outstanding performances from all the player’s but Man of the Match went to Joe Jackson in the centre back position winning everything in the air (at 5ft11”) he should be. |
